
Quantum correlations in flux frustrated lattices
Giorno 10 marzo 2026, con inizio alle ore 11:00, presso l’Aula E del DFA, il Prof. Marco Di Liberto (Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia “Galileo Galilei”, Università di Padova) terrà un seminario dal titolo Quantum correlations in flux frustrated lattices: from chiral Higgs excitations to vortex dynamics.

Abstract. Atomic quantum simulators offer plenty of opportunities to investigate quantum phases of matter in programmable systems. Here, I will overview some of the achievements of the field and discuss, in particular, how phases with time-reversal broken symmetry arise in bosonic models. A focus will be on vortex Mott insulator and superfluid phases and unconventional excitations like Higgs modes or strongly-correlated vortex dynamics.
